Brook Canning has been practicing Acupuncture since 1999. Her experience as a practitioner and her caring, unassuming nature ensure you will have a positive experience of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Brook completed her university degree for Acupuncture in Sydney. She then continued her studies in China –at the Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine integrated hospital; completing an Advanced Diploma in TCM. A post graduate certificate in Chinese Herbal Medicine was completed in 2000.
Brook has been practicing Acupuncture at successful clinics in both London and Sydney for the past eleven years gaining a strong clinical background in all areas of Acupuncture. Brook’s passion lies in her area of specialty -Women’s health including; fertility, IVF support, pregnancy and gynaecological disorders.
Brook is a fully accredited member of the Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association (AACMA), the peak professional body for practitioners of TCM.
Nicola Marishel is a qualified Acupuncturist and Chinese Herbalist who has been practicing for 10 years. Nicola holds a Diploma in Traditional Chinese Medicine, and has completed several internships at the Zhejiang Provincial Hospital in Hang Zhou, China.
Nicola has a special interest in fertility and pregnancy, and the use of acupuncture and herbal medicine to assist with both natural fertility and IVF processes. She is a trained Doula for labour and birth support. She enjoys a reputation for extensive experience with IVF patients, a holistic approach and commitment to the wellbeing of her clients.
Nicola has also had a lot of success treating syndromes such as anxiety and depression, sleeping disorders, digestive issues and pain. With an in depth understanding of the complex body changes and bio-rhythms that make up the body’s system, and the benefits that acupuncture can offer, Nicola is committed to ensuring that her acupuncture sessions are a positive experience for everyone she treats.
