Labour Encouragement and Induction of Labour

Acupuncture is a safe an effective tool to encourage the natural onset of labour. Ideally women are treated with a pre birth program that consists of weekly treatments from 36 weeks. Acupuncture can still be effective if a pre birth program has not been completed – generally you will see your Acupuncturist between one and three times in a shorter space of time.
